Self-Reliance.net --- The School of Self-Reliance is operated by Dolores and Christopher Nyerges. Christopher has been teaching wild food and survival classes since 1974. The School of Self-Reliance has classes in wild food identification and cooking, urban survival skills, outdoor survival, and special skills, such as how to make primitive weapons, weaving, making solar ovens, etc. More than 20,000 people have attended these classes. These and workshops, lectures and field trips are offered to schools, Boy Scout troops, Church groups, youth groups and the general public.
